The Intimate Inside Story of Hollywood's Hottest Glamour Girl" was the first book written exclusively about Marilyn Monroe. It was originally published in 1953 by the Rudolph Field Company. It was published as a Hardcover with a color dust jacket and also as a Paperback. The original book was 63 pages with 39 gorgeous black and white photos of Marilyn Monroe. About the Author Joe Franklin (1926 - 2015) was an American radio and television host personality from New York City. His show began in 1950 on WJZ-TV (later WABC-TV) and moved to WOR-TV (later WWOR-TV) from 1962 to 1993. He was called "The King of Nostalgia" and "The Wizard of Was" for focusing on old-time show-business personalities. Franklin was listed in the Guinness World Records as the longest running continuous on-air TV talk show host, more than a decade longer than Johnny Carson's run Scott Cardinal walked away from a potentially mind-numbing career as a contract attorney in order to pursue a career as an Investigative and Architectural Historian.
